Emcore provided specialized MEP design services for the modernization of a premium cigar lounge, focusing on sustainable building infrastructure and high-performance industrial ventilation solutions to ensure air quality and regulatory compliance in a specialized smoke environment.

02. Scope of Work

HVAC Design: Expert design of the air conditioning system using HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) software to meet strict DM standards.

Mechanical Ventilation: Specialized design per ASHRAE 62.1 standards with drawings for the cigar environment.

Smoke Management System: Specialized smoke ventilation system design per DM regulations for dedicated smoke rooms.

Electrical & Plumbing: Complete electrical load summary, detailed drawings compliant with DEWA standards, and plumbing/drainage/gas designs.

03. Project Details

Technical Excellence: Utilized precision engineering to create a high-accuracy BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and technical submittals for authority approvals.

Authority Coordination: Managed submission and preparation of drawings to facilitate DCD approved and DM-compliant certifications.
