01. Project Overview

Project: Replacement of Domestic Water Transfer Pumps (Filter & Cold Water).

Location: Burj Al Arab (BAA), Dubai, UAE

Client: Jumeirah International L.L.C

Emcore executed this critical infrastructure maintenance service for one of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels. The project focused on upgrading the plumbing system installation to ensure reliable, high-pressure water distribution across multiple levels of this landmark structure.

02. Scope of Work

Our ISO certified MEP contractor team delivered a specialized turnkey MEP solution:

System Upgrade:Isolation and removal of existing units followed by the expert installation of high-performance Grundfos Domestic Water Systems.

Filter Water System:Installation of 2 x 45m³/hr @100mH pumps at the Basement 3 level.

Cold Water System: Installation of high-capacity pumps across Level 8, Level 25, and Level 27 to manage vertical water distribution.

Mechanical Integration: Supply and installation of all necessary suction/discharge valves, NRVs, and pressure gauges for precision engineering compliance.

Electrical & Controls: Modification of existing control panels and integration of new power/control cabling to support the upgraded pump network.

02. Scope of Work

Technical Excellence: Managed complex multi-disciplinary design coordination to replace critical utility assets without disrupting hotel operations. Equipment Quality: Utilized industry-leading Grundfos CR-series pumps for maximum durability and energy-efficient engineering.
